Carol Hungerford is primarily an oil painter specializing in portrait and figure painting. She also enjoys still life and dabbles in landscapes, each discipline depends feeding the other.
Her first passion was the figure and she especially enjoys painting people either indoors or in an outdoor setting. She is available for commission work. Her still lives have become a go to subject where she especially enjoys settling up interesting situations to paint. She often paints single humble objects such as teapots, fruit, or thift store dolls that elevate them into art.
Carol’s mission is to create a painting that is infused with color and personality.
